If you are a student of the UP Board who could not clear one or two subjects in the recent Class 10 or 12 board exams, there is good news for you. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has officially started the application process for the Improvement and Compartment exams for 2026. This gives you a great second chance to clear your papers and save your academic year.
You can fill out the form online starting from June 6, 2026, and the last date to complete your registration is June 27, 2026.

- Class 10 Students: If you failed in one subject, you can apply for the Improvement exam. If you failed in two subjects, you can take the Compartment exam for only one of those failed subjects.
- Class 12 Students: If you belong to the Science, Commerce, or Arts stream and failed in just one subject paper, you are eligible to sit for the Compartment exam.
How to Fill the Form
- Go to the official UP Board website at upmsp.edu.in.
- Click on the link for the “High School / Intermediate Compartment Exam 2026”.
- Log in using your roll number and fill in your details carefully.
- Pay the required exam fee through a Treasury Challan, then download and print your completed application form.
- Very Important Step: Within three days of the last application date, you must send the printed copy of your form along with the original Treasury Challan receipt to your regional UP Board office via registered post.
Do not wait for the last day, as website servers often slow down at the last minute. Complete your process early so you can fully focus on studying for the exam.
