UPSC Recruitment 2026, Apply Online for 538 Central Government Posts

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced a new recruitment drive (Advertisement No. 06/2026) to fill 538 vacancies across more than 30 Central Government ministries and departments. The available jobs include positions for Specialist Doctors, Assistant Professors, Scientists, Engineers, and Legal Advisers.

The application process is entirely online, and eligible candidates can submit their forms on the official UPSC website until July 3, 2026. Selected candidates will receive a salary based on Level-07 to Level-14 of the 7th Pay Commission, along with government allowances.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, you must be an Indian citizen. The general age limit is between 35 to 59 years, depending on the specific job you choose. Reserved categories get standard age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
