The candidate’s minimum age must be at least 21 years old on July 1, 2023. And They should not be older than 28 years old. There will be age relaxations in the upper age limit for the reserved categories applicable to the SC, ST, etc, as per the Govt rules.
Educational Qualification

Marital Status
A female applicant who marries a guy who is already married to another living wife or a male candidate who has more than one living wife will not be eligible for admission to the UP Police.
UP Police SI Recruitment Selection Process
The UP Police SI recruitment selection process is a multistage procedure to appoint the best candidates for the job profile. It will include three to four stages which the candidates must clear to secure his selection for the various posts. They are as follows:
- Written Examination: A written test will take place by the selection board to assess various abilities of the candidates.
