TS TET Vacancies

Application Fee

To apply only for Paper I, there is an application fee of INR 1000. If the candidate wants to apply for both the papers then the fee is INR 2000. There is no fee exemption for any category.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have passed Intermediate Class 12th or equivalent qualification with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD). In addition, they must have a Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed) or a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) degree.
Paper II (Classes VI to VIII)
The candidate must have graduated in any discipline with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD). In addition to this, a B.Ed degree or relevant teacher training qualification recognized by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) must be ther.

TS TET Selection Process 2024
The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana has some selection parameters for the TS TETrecruitment process. The candidates will not be assessed on any grading system. They will need to secure a minimum qualifying mark to be eligible for applying to teacher recruitment drives in Telangana.
Written Exam
The exam will take place in an offline mode in a MCQ format. There are two papers, whether you apply for Paper I (Classes I to V) or Paper II (Classes VI to VIII). The exam will cover questions from key subjects like Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I (Telugu), Language-II (English/Hindi/Urdu/Sanskrit), and the relevant subject(s) for Paper II. The candidates will have to secure a minimum qualifying mark.
Interview
Once the candidate qualifies the examination, there will be an interview round depending on the need of the schools they apply to across Telangana state. This stage will be like a personality test and assessment of behavioral patterns.
