TN TRB SGT Application Steps 2024
The applications are received through online mode from 14th February 2024 to 15th March 2024. Below are the steps to apple for the recruitment process.
- Visit the official website of the Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB).
- Look for the section or link labeled “TN TRB SGT Recruitment” and click on it.
- Find the application form section and click on options like “Click here for Online Application Form” or “Online Application Registration.”
- Register yourself by entering details like name, mobile number, and email address.
- You’ll receive a registration ID and password via email or mobile number.
- Log in using your registration ID and password.
- Upload the required documents such as your SSC certificate, category certificate (if applicable), and others as specified.

TN TRB SGT Eligibility 2024

Age Limit
Applicants must be between 18 – 53 years to attend the recruitment. As per the official notification, the upper age limit will be relaxed for the reserved category candidates as per the Govt rules.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have completed their higher secondary education (also known as Intermediate or Senior Secondary) from a recognized school board. An equivalent qualification is also acceptable. In addition to the above, candidates need to possess either:
- A two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or
- A four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education

- A total of 30 questions are asked.
- The exam will be conducted for 50 marks.
- The duration of the exam is 30 minutes.
