Chhattisgarh Home Guard Eligibility 2024
The candidates must fulfill all the minimal requirements in order to be eligible to apply for the Chhattisgarh Home Guard Exam. You must meet certain requirements regarding age and education level. In addition, they must be Indian citizens and have the required identity certificates. The Exam will not be open to applications from candidates who do not match the eligibility conditions. There can be further requirements for language proficiency in Hindi, English, or any other state-relevant vernacular language. Chhattisgarh Home Guard Age Limit
The aspiring candidates must be between the age group of 19 to 40 years of age in order to be eligible for the post of Apprentice positions. They must not exceed the age limit by 40 years of age. Apart from this candidates belonging to the reserved categories will receive an age relaxation in the upper age limit.
Chhattisgarh Home Guard Educational Qualification
The candidates applying for the exam must meet the following educational qualifications. The candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and SC category applicants should have passed the 10th class or Higher Secondary examination under the 10+2 system. And the scheduled tribe candidates are required to have passed the 8th class. For applicants from Naxal affected families, the educational qualifications differ slightly: General, OBC, and SC category applicants must be 8th pass, while Scheduled Tribe applicants from these areas should have at least passed the 5th class.
Chhattisgarh Home Guard Nationality
The candidates must be citizens of India in order to be eligible for the post. Apart from that, they must be able to provide the valid document proofs to support their claims. they can be:
- A subject of Bhutan or Nepal or,
- A Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before 1st January 1962 to settle in the country permanently or,
- An Indian person who has come over from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Ethiopia, Zaire, or Vietnam to settle in India on a permanent note.
Chhattisgarh Home Guard Physical Standards
The candidates belonging to the General Category, Scheduled Caste and Other Backward Class must meet the height parameters which is 168 cm. For male and female candidates of Scheduled Tribe category of revenue districts South Bastar, Dantewada, Narayanpur Bijapur, Bastar, North Bastar, Kanker, Korea, Surguja and Jashpur – 153 cm. For male candidates of Scheduled Tribe category and women of all categories of remaining revenue districts – 158 cm
Chest:- Male – 81 cm. – Chest expansion 85 cm (5 cm chest expansion is mandatory). Refer to the table below for more details.
