APPSC Group 4

The APPSC Group 4 Syllabus 2024 will be announced soon on the official website of APPSC. The syllabus for this test is created by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission. Both the main exam and the screening/preliminary examination are included in the APPSC Group 4 Exam Syllabus. Paper I and Paper II are the two papers in the APPSC Group 4 Exam Syllabus. Apart from this, they will also appear for a Computer Proficiency test. The candidates interested for the positions under Group 4 must check the detailed syllabus. Exam patterns and the APPSC Group 4 syllabus are provided separately for both stages. It is recommended that candidates study the entire APPSC Group 4 Exam Pattern for 2023 in order to fully comprehend each subject.

APPSC Group 4 Syllabus Overview 

The exam will consist of Paper I & II and the subjects will vary accordingly. Those who clear the exam will get approached to verify their documents and chosen for the position they have applied for. For each position covered in this APPSC Group-IV recruitment, the APPSC Group 4 syllabus is the same. You must gauge the subject and topic wise syllabus to prepare well.

Paper-I

APPSC Group 4 Exam Pattern 2024

The aspirants can expect a Screening Test and a Main Examination to qualify for various posts under the APPSC Group 4. The candidates will take the Screening Test first which consists of two sections: A and B. Section A and B will total 150 marks, the candidates will be asked questions from rural development and problems in rural areas, there are 150 questions and 150 marks overall. Paper 1 of the Main Examination covers General Studies and Mental Ability, while Paper 2 explores Language proficiency in English and Telugu language. Apart from this, there is a computer proficiency test which will be assessed according to a different marking pattern. Read below to know more about the same.

Screening Test Exam Pattern

The aspirants must know the assessment of the screening test will be done in a certain way. They will be having a marking scheme criteria. The test will be of a total 150 marks.

Main Examination (Objective Type) Exam Pattern

The exam will be a total of 300 marks with 300 questions. The total duration will be 300 minutes. Aspirants can expect the evaluation of their performance according to the marking scheme mentioned in the table below.

Computer Proficiency Test Exam Pattern

The test will consist of 50 marks, and candidates will have 30 minutes to complete it. The exam will be a practical test. This implies that the exam pattern for the proficiency test will be in a following manner:
