APPSC Group 1 Age Limit 

According to the APPSC announcement for the 2024 Group 1 Jobs Recruitment, the age range is 18–42 years for general candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 5 years for SC and ST candidates.

APPSC Group 1 Educational Qualification

  1. District Fire Officers in the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service require a degree in engineering (fire) from a UGC-accredited university or equivalent. If B.E. (Fire) applicants are not available, candidates with any degree will be considered.
  2. Asst. Treasury Officer/Asst. Accounts Officer in A.P. Treasury & Accounts Service: A second-class degree in Commerce, Economics, or Mathematics from a UGC-accredited university, Chartered Accountants of the United Kingdom or India, or an incorporated accountant (London).
  3. District Social Welfare Officer in the Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Service: A bachelor’s degree from an Indian university established or incorporated by a Central Act, State Act, Provincial Act, or University Grants Commission-recognized institution. Applicants with a sociology or social work degree will be given priority.

APPSC Group 1 Nationality 

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) normally requires APPSC Group 1 test candidates to be Indian citizens.

APPSC Group 1 Physical Requirements

Under the APPSC Group I recruitment process, there are a few physical standard requirements for Deputy Superintendent of Police (Civil) Cat-2 in the Andhra Pradesh Police Service, Deputy Superintendent of Jails (MEN) in the Andhra Pradesh Jail Service, and Divisional/District Fire Officers in the State Disaster Response & Fire Services.
